Together with Newbridge Advisors LLP, PRD undertook a holistic review of Homes for Reading, a housing delivery company established and owned by Reading Borough Council to deliver high quality private rental sector accommodation for Reading residents.

Our strategic review covered the breadth of business activities, including governance, financial, operational, market and business planning aspects.

In undertaking the review, we worked closely with the Home for Reading Board, officers and representatives of Reading Borough Council, in order to ensure that all proposals arrived at reflected the important roles played by each in shaping and delivering any proposals made.

The output of the review was a clear plan of recommendations to support the company to stabilise and grow and to embark upon new models for delivery including direct participation in development and block acquisitions.
