SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

Introduction

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires that any commercial organisation in any sector, which supplies goods or services, and carries on a business or part of a business in the UK, and is above a specified total turnover, must produce a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year of the organisation.  For the purposes of this requirement, ‘supply chain’ has its everyday meaning. Regulations have set the total turnover threshold at £36m.  

For the purposes of the Act,  Partnering Regeneration Development Limited (PRD) does not currently have a turnover equal to or above the Regulations of the Act setting the total turnover threshold at £36m. We have however chosen to voluntarily produce a slavery and human trafficking statement.

PRD takes the provisions of the Act very seriously and has developed this policy to adhere to some of the requirements of the Act and we have taken steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any of its supply chains, and in any part of our own business.

Organisation's structure

PRD is a small property consultancy operating as a Limited Company in the UK.  The Company is managed by its two founding Directors.

Our policies on anti-slavery and human trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in PRD or our supply chains.

We will treat any breach of our Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy very seriously. For example, any employee who breaches the policy will face disciplinary action which could result in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct.

Supplier adherence to our values and ethics

Where PRD is seeking to partner or do business with any organisation, regardless of corporate structure or geographic location as part of our supply chain satisfy ourselves that each organisation has an established their own Slavery and Human Trafficking policy statement and associated protocols which meet the requirements of the Act and are consistent with our own rigorous approach to compliance with the principles of this vitally important piece of legislation.

PRD’s continued commitment

We recognise the importance of maintaining constant vigilance to identify and address any issues associated with slavery and human trafficking in PRD and throughout our supply chains. We are committed to continuing to enhance our capacity to identify, prevent and mitigate any actual or potential risks in these areas. This includes communications through various channels to staff and also the ability to report concerns through our Serious Concerns & Whistleblowing process.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 (Part 6) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.  It has been approved by the Directors of PRD and is signed by Martin Woodhouse in his capacity as a Company Director.
