A number of ABB’s key markets are involved with the energy industry, including its UK operations.

In response to the UK Government’s emerging agenda for renewable energy and its strategy for future investment in energy infrastructure, PRD and Regeneris Consulting supported ABB to undertake an Economic Impact Assessment, which aimed to:

+  Establish a baseline assessment about the economic impact that ABB’s Power Systems Division in the UK makes upon the domestic economy

+  Develop forecasts for the domestic economic impact of a number of future projects 

+  Develop case studies to showcase innovative approaches that ABB has adopted, which enhance the positive socio-economic impacts of its activities.
