Croydon Council Urban Regeneration Vehicle (CCURV) is a 28-year exclusive partnership between Croydon Council and John Laing. CCURV is a Local Asset Backed Vehicle (LABV), which was established to deliver developments totalling £450m over the life of the partnership.
PRD provided development management services to CCURV for two of its key projects:
+ A mixed-tenure housing scheme with over 400 residential units including private rented, private for sale and mixed tenure affordable units together with extensive public spaces in the centre of Croydon.
+ A 50,000 ft² food store with pre-let to Waitrose and a community asset in Coulsdon.
PRD had responsibility for leading the development management requirements from January 2014 to August 2014. This involved: managing technical advisors, developing and testing viability models, securing funding offers, securing planning consents and procuring prime contractors for each scheme.
PRD has been involved in shaping and supporting CCURV since before its inception in 2008. We have supported it to realise a significant legacy of asset delivery and regeneration amidst some of the most challenging economic challenges faced by in the development sector.
"PRD offers John Laing and CCURV access to the specialist skills and services we require to support our core development functions. Daniel and Martin's hands-on approach and collaborative way of working have delivered huge benefits and efficiencies to CCURV's projects".
