Together with Regeneris Consulting and We Made That, PRD developed a Workspace Growth Study for London Borough of Brent.

The Study was commissioned to examine the supply of workspace in the Borough; the nature of demand; the role the Council can play in directing and stimulating workspace demand; and the opportunity for the Council to engage in development partnerships in order to accelerate delivery and generate commercial returns.

PRD’s role focused on the supporting the Council to understand how it could take greater control through innovative direct and partnered approaches to delivery. This included:

+    Profiling and consultation with commercial and non-commercial providers in the market to ascertain their potential interest;
+    Evaluation of the front running portfolio of sites in which the Council holds an interest;
+    Developing options for property and special purpose vehicles;
+    Proposing policy, governance and service interventions; and
+    Setting out a strategic action plan for the Council to support it further consider and mobilise its preferred approach.
