Working with SLC Rail, PRD supported one of the bidders for the Thameslink Rail Concession (now awarded). PRD and SLC Rail developed an innovative funding and partnering structure that would enable third party investment to be introduced to encourage and deliver 'transformational investment' in key station gateways along the route.
The proposals were supported by a number of Councils and Authorities who considered the lack of investment and regeneration in and around their station gateways as being a barrier to the wider regeneration of their towns
